CELEBRATING WED 2018
This year, we had so much fun. Our theme “ART FOR LIFE“. We started with an outdoor Art Rally at the Rumuomasi round about (Rivers State, Nigeria) at about 7am , 5TH June and end by 9am. The Art exhibition continued by 10am at Hago Heights event centre on Peter Odili Road. We watched two Videos on Plastic Pollution, listened to School children make presentations, Gave out two Awards – ECO-innovation 2018 and ECO-LADY 2018. The recipients of the Awards were; Sandra George Kalio and Wonne Afronelly. (See citations). Our Chairperson, Engr (Mrs) Kaine Chinwah also did a presentation on “BEAT PLASTIC POLLUTION”…if you can’t reuse it, refuse it.
The permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Dr Emmanuel. S. URANG represented the Commissioner of Environment. Women and Student Groups in the state like, Network of Entrepreneurial Women (NNEW), Entrepreneurs Platform Initiative (EPI) , Eve Afrique, Nigerian Women Medical Association, Rivers State Branch, Port Harcourt University Medical Students Association and Association of Chemical/ Petrochemical Engineering students. We had 10 other primary / secondary schools present with a total of about 80 students and 16 teachers;

Our Young Students were given exercise books as gifts and the teachers that came with them had a book by ACEP handed over to them.
Members of ACEP ECO CLUB were great team players. They volunteered as Ushers, Organizers and generally supported ACEP staff to make WED 2018 a huge success.
